Wii Fitness Class Guidelines
("A Work-In-Progress!")(pardon our 'dust')
We invite you to submit your comments,
experience and suggestions to improve our guide.
NOTE: When you setup your Wii console for the first time, insure you follow
the instructions for updating the Wii internal software ASAP. This is
easily and quickly done via a Wi-Fi connection or USB cable connection
to your internet service. This will insure your Wii will be working with
the absolute latest operation software revisions.
Refer to Wii Ops Manual.
THE #1 REASON
your whole-class Wii Fitness program can be a success is MOTIVATION.
As teacher, your mission is not only to conduct the exercises, but to
motivate and inspire your students to step higher, stretch farther and
put some extra OOMPH into their Wii Fitness routines.
HOW you conduct your class is equally as important as the equipment
you are using.
Now, being a Drill Sargeant is not the idea here. The idea is to repeat
and reinforce what the Wii Trainer says about the exercise, and fitness
health in general. As we grow, WiiFitKids.org will be publishing more
than just basic guidelines as you see here in draft form. Soon you'll
have a lot more class suggestions, schedules, routines and even ways to
motivate and inspire your students to really feel the results, both in
their bodies and their minds. More to come....!
Please bookmark us and return frequently for updates.
YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO WRITE WiiFitKids.org
WITH YOUR SUGGESTIONS
These guidelines are in pre-release form, being updated constantly as
we consider all aspects of what you, the teacher / trainer need to effectively
and efficiently conduct your Wii Fitness class.
In the near future we will include an opt-in newsletter to keep all our
valued PE teachers up to date.
